Types of treatment:
Treatment for eating disorders varies depending on the severity of the issue.  The most common and effective form of treatment is psychotherapy or counseling coupled with medical and nutritional intervention from a medical doctor and registered dietician. Usually this is done on an out-patient basis, but if severe enough, the patient may be referred to inpatient treatment.  There are a number of excellent inpatient treatment programs located in the United States even a number of them located in Florida.  To locate these treatment facilities, please contact a treatment professional for a referral.
